Ingredients
Order Bison Meat
6 Buttered Burger Buns
MEAT
1 lb ground Blue Bison
1/4 C. minced onion
2 Tbsp minced fresh thyme
1/2 C. crumbled Blue Cheese
1/2 C. water
2 Tbsp. Balsamic Vinegar
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
6 pats cold butter (not margarine).
TOPPINGS
Sliced Tomatoes, Onions, Dill Pickles, Lettuce leaves, Sauteed Mushrooms
CONDIMENTS
Catsup, Mustard, Mayonnaise
Instructions
Prepare toppings on a tray for easy assembly once grilling is done, and have all condiments on hand also.
Butter Buns and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, blend ground bison, minced onion, thyme, crumbled blue cheese, Vinegar, salt, pepper and water till mixed.
Divide mixture into 6 balls. Into each ball place one pat of cold butter.
Form into 6 patties, keeping the butter encased within the patty.
Heat grill, and quickly grill buns until warm and crisp.
Grill patties, turning once to your preference of rare, medium or well done*.
*These patties can be grilled well done and they will still be juicy because of the added water and the pat of butter.
