Ingredients
Order Bison Meat
2 lbs of Blue Bison Burger meat
1 head of roasted garlic cloves, chopped fine
8 pineapple rings, lightly grilled
8 red bell pepper rings, grilled
8 thin slices of red or sweet onion
1/2 cup of Teriyaki glaze
8 Onion or Hawaiian Hamburger buns, toasted
8 Tbsp of Thousand Island dressing (you can use homemade)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the roasted garlic cloves into the ground bison meat.
Form into 8 quarter pound patties
Grill on a hot charcoal grill (can use gas or pan fry inside)
Cook about 4-5 minutes on each side until juices run clear.
Just before the burgers come off the grill place the pineapple rings and bell pepper rings on the grill, turning once to get the grill marks on them.
Remove the bison burgers to a platter and brush with teriyaki glaze.
Remove pineapple and pepper rings to a seperate plate.
To Assemble
Spread Thousand Island dressing on each bun.
On bottom bun place one blue bison burger.
Then top with one pineapple ring, one bell pepper ring, and one slice of onion, and place the top bun on, gently pressing down.
Serve with extra teriyaki sauce.
